(Lincoln, NE) -- Nebraska is getting free tows and rides for would-be impaired drivers over Memorial Day Weekend.

AAA says it’ll offer its Tow to Go program from Friday night at 6:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.

Confidential callers will have a tow truck dispatched to them to transport the person’s vehicle and drive the owner to a safe place within ten miles.

The service is free for members and non-members.

Over the last 25 years, AAA has helped 30,000 people through the program.

If you need a ride, you can call 855-2-TOW-2-GO or 855-286-9246.
