Cedar Rapids Area Storm Effects Limited To High Winds, Minor Flooding

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Most of the effects from Tuesday's storms in and around the Corridor was limited to straight-line winds that damaged homes, and farm buildings, and toppled trees.

The Eagle's Club in Maquoketa was destroyed when it's roof was blown off. A roof was also reportedly blown off a country club near Lowden.

Heavy rain also resulted in flooding in some areas.

A flood warning is out for Beaver Creek in Butler County this morning. Iowa DOT reports Highway 57 eastbound at IA-14 in Parkersburg is blocked because of flooding.
