(Des Moines, IA) -- Iowa now has a disaster recovery website to help people after severe storms.
The Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management launched the Iowa Disaster Recovery website in response to recent severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding that hit the state in April and May.
The website will help Iowans easily access resources and information such as what state and federal programs are available, how to clean up after storms, mental health resources, and more.
The Director of the Iowa Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management John Benson says “The launch of this disaster recovery website is another step to providing assistance and resources to those affected by the recent severe weather in Iowa.”
More information can be found on the Iowa Disaster Recovery website.
