Two police officers were shot in Waterloo while responding to a call for a person with a gun.
Officers responded to an address near the CN Railyard, around 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.
An investigation led police to another address, where an officer-involved shooting resulted in one male being killed, and two officers being shot.
Police say the officers were taken to a local hospital and are in stable condition.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is now investigating this shooting.
