Teen Shooter at Omaha High School Appears in Court, Charged as Adult

(Omaha, NE) -- The 14 year-old suspect in a shooting at Omaha Northwest High School will be tried as an adult. Ramone Jefferson appeared in court today and is charged with weapon use to commit a felony, possession of a gun on school grounds and first-degree assault. 14 year-old Jamorion Fant was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is now stable according to police.
