(Coralville, IA) -- The City of Coralville could soon have a new police chief.
City Administrator Kelly Hayworth is recommending Lieutenant Kyle Nicholson of the Coralville Police Department to become the new chief. If approved by the city council, Nicholson would succeed the recently retired Shane Kron. Nicholson joined the Coralville Police Department in 2014 and has served in multiple roles on the force.
The Coralville City Council will meet on Tuesday, September 17th to approve or deny Nicholson's appointment.
