(Clinton, IA) -- No updates yet on the condition of an elementary school student being treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car at a bus stop.
Police say the child was being picked up by a Calamus-Wheatland school bus on Highway 30 in Clinton Monday morning when they were struck by a vehicle.
Police say the driver failed to stop for the flashing school bus lights.
First responders airlifted the student to University of Iowa Healthcare in Iowa City.
The Clinton County Sheriff's office is investigating.
