(Davenport, IA) -- So far, so good. That's the feedback from two Davenport schools running pilot programs to limit student cellphone access during class time.

Brian Ehlinger, Davenport Central principal tells WQAD News 8 that many students have thanked him for helping manage cellphone use.

He says that both Central, and Williams Intermediate--the other school taking part in the program--report an 11-percent increase in student engagement so far this year.
