(Undated) -- A Lincoln man is in custody after a chase in Waverly early (Tuesday) afternoon. Lancaster County deputies tried to stop a Dodge flatbed pickup after a domestic disturbance at a pharmacy. It led to a chase & patrol cars were rammed. One officer was in a patrol car that was rammed, but was not injured.

The Nebraska State Patrol joined in the pursuit. A trooper fired one round during the chase, but it did not hit the suspect.

Officers used tasers, pepperballs and foam projectiles to take the driver into custody.

The LSO says 34 year old Trenton Engel of Lincoln is also accused of breaking into a home in Waverly and threatening a man. He's also accused if taking a woman hostage in Seward County last month.
