(Davenport, IA) -- Firefighters say there is no danger to the surrounding area after an ammonia leak at a Davenport factory.
Workers at Kraft Heinz in North Davenport got an unexpected day off Thursday when an Ammonia leak was detected just after 6:30 a.m.
Employees were evacuated and the Davenport Fire Department was called in to isolate the leak.
No injuries were reported, and the DFD says the leak was contained to the Kraft Heinz plant.
