Oelwein Girl Serves As This Week's Hawkeye Kid Captain

(Iowa City, IA) -- A nine-year-old from Oelwein is this week's Iowa Hawkeye and Stead Family Children's Hospital honorary kid captain. Nataleigh Mochal was born at 25 weeks and has battled heart vessel problems, severe hives, and a chronic lung condition through her childhood. She is currently active in sports, dance, and theater, and continues treatment for her conditions as needed.

She'll be recognized during Friday's game against UCLA, Nov. 8. Kickoff is at 8 p.m. Central Time.
