Davenport Residents Surveyed On City Priorities

(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport residents say the city services they're most satisfied with are first responders, library, and garbage and recycling.

And they think city council's priorities should be improving streets, neighborhoods and police services.

Those are the results of a resident survey Davenport City Council began reviewing Saturday as part of the budget planning process.

So far council is looking at a 13% budget increase for fiscal 2026.
