(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Lawyers for the man charged with a quadruple murder in Linn County want his confession thrown out.

Luke Truesdell told police last summer that he killed four friends and that the murders would make a good movie plot.

His attorneys say the confession is inadmissible because he wasn't read his Miranda rights.

Police say Truesdell wasn't in custody or a suspect at the time.

The trial is scheduled to begin in April.
