The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services reports an inmate death.
83-year old Edward Adams died at the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln.
Adams’s sentence began on April 2nd, 2007.
He was serving a sentence of 85 years to life out of Dodge County for second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
While the cause of death has not yet been determined, Corrections says Adams was being treated for a medical condition.
