The Douglas County Sheriff's Office releases new information in a fatal, four vehicle crash in northwest Omaha last December.
Investigators say a 17-year-old female from Omaha is charged as an adult with misdemeanor motor vehicle homicide in the crash that took the life of 79-year- old Rebecca Davis of Omaha and injured another person.
The Sheriff's Office says the teen is known to law enforcement and has had previous run-ins with Sheriff's Deputies.
Specifically, for an offense in that general area of northwest Omaha in September of 2024, travelling 61 MPH in a 35 MPH zone and passing a vehicle in an improper lane;
