State Patrol Northern Nebraska Drug Seizure

(Lincoln, NE) -- The State Patrol says troopers seized over 250 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in northern Nebraska.

It happened Friday on Highway 20 near Highway 81 on a Chevrolet Silverado with a driver known to have a suspended license.

During the stop, a trooper saw marijuana in plain view in the pickup.

A search of the vehicle revealed several bags of marijuana in the cab and bed of the pickup.

Total weight of the marijuana: 252 pounds.

The driver, 40-year- old Coty Weber of Saint Peter, Minnesota, was arrested for driving under suspension, possession of marijuana - more than one pound, and possession with intent to deliver.
