(Omaha, NE) -- Firefighters Friday afternoon were called to Methodist Hospital at 83rd and Dodge Streets in Omaha after several people experienced symptoms such as dizziness and not feeling well due to a suspicious odor.
Much of the attention from Omaha Fire Hazmat technicians and hospital staff was on the south tower at Methodist.
Omaha Fire says 11 patients were treated at Methodist for what appeared to be non-life- threatening symptoms.
As a precaution, the fire department evacuated several floors of the south tower.
OFD says no readings were detected on any fire department meters or hospital hazmat meters.
The fire department has turned the scene back over to hospital staff.
