A wrongful death civil suit against Adventureland Park is being moved back to Polk County.

The suit says a Marion family was trapped underwater after a raft on the Raging River ride flipped in 2021.

An eleven-year-old boy died, and his older brother was seriously injured.

A district judge moved the case to Scott County in 2023 due to pre-trial publicity.

Last week another judge says the trial is moving back to Polk County, saying enough time has passed since the pre-trial coverage.

The case is expected to go to trial this year.
