One man is injured in an officer-involved shooting after allegedly leading Webster County deputies on chase.

The sheriff's office originally responded to a domestic disturbance call in Gowrie on Monday night. They learned a man involved had been consuming alcohol and was driving, and had a gun in his truck.

Deputies found the man driving and a chase ensued, ending after stop sticks were deployed and the PIT maneuver was used.

They say the suspect then reached down into his passenger seat and made a shooting motion toward deputies through the back window of the truck. A deputy fired one shot through the window and hit the suspect in the hand.

He was taken into custody, then a local hospital for treatment. A pistol was found on the floorboard of the truck.
