Eastern Iowa Counties Offering Reimbursement For Chemical-Free Lawn Care

(Johnson County, IA) -- Johnson County is offering incentives for homeowners to grow more environmentally friendly lawns.

The program encourages people to avoid chemicals that can runoff into Iowa waterways and degrade the state's soil conditions.

Homeowners outside of Iowa City, North Liberty, and Coralville can get up to $2,000 to recoup soil restoration costs.
