(Newton, IA) -- Four people have been in charged in a death investigation in Newton. It started when the body of 66 year-old Tommie Lee Misner was found dead in a home while police were executing a search warrant. 53-year-old Jeffrey Stevens of Newton, 63-year-old Scott Mabrier of Des Moines 47-year-old Thomas Olofson of Hudson and 36-year-old Alysha Buell of Des Moines are all facing obstruction and abuse of a corpse charges, accused of trying to hide the body. The investigation as to how Misner died is ongoing.
