(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport City Council is approving the final plans for an affordable housing project at the historic Annie Wittenmyer Complex, but plans for Junior Theater remain up-in-the-air.
Work to convert the cottages on the campus into housing units is expected to begin in a couple of weeks.
Council still hasn't approved a lease agreement that would allow the Davenport Junior Theatre to continue using the Nighswander Theatre on the grounds.
Some council members want more time to answer financial questions about the deal, so the vote was postponed until Council's August meeting.
