(Des Moines, IA) -- World War II era planes are on display this week at the Des Moines International Airport.
The Airpower History Tour is holding an event this week through the weekend that offers those in attendance a chance to see the planes up close, tour the cockpits of several aircraft, and even take rides in some of the planes from the World War II era. Some of the aircraft that will be on display include a B-29 bomber, PT-51T-6, RC-45J, and more. The events are open from 9am-5pm daily through Sunday, August 10th.
Tickets can be purchased at the event or in advance online and are $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 11-17. Children ages 10 and younger can attend for free.
