(Davenport, IA) -- One of Iowa's contributions to rock and roll history is finally being released to the public.
In 1975, the rock band KISS recorded concerts in four cities for their groundbreaking Alive! album.
Two shows were recorded at the RKO Orpheum Theater in Davenport, now known as the Adler Theater, but only two tracks from the shows made the final release.
Now, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the album, KISS is releasing a boxset that includes a complete show, and rehearsals from Davenport for the first time ever.
Pre-orders are now being taken on the band's website.
The cost--just under 300-dollars.
