(Des Moines, IA) -- A Des Moines woman is facing multiple charges after police say she fired a gun at a car carrying her fiancé and an 8-year-old girl.
Officers responded to the shooting Sunday night and say 28-year-old Lakeisha Powell fired a handgun at her fiancé’s car during a domestic dispute. The man and the child were not hurt, but officers found a bullet hole in the vehicle.
Powell is charged with Domestic Abuse Assault, Child Endangerment, and Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon.
