(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines Police say the victim of a shooting on the north side of downtown has died.
Officers and Des Moines Fire Department crews were called to 12th Street and Keo Way just before 9 p.m. Thursday. A 35‑year‑old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
Investigators say the man was shot during a robbery at an apartment on Park Avenue and then drove himself to the location where he was later found.
No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
