(Iowa) -- Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has issued a state of emergency disaster proclamation to ease restrictions on fuel transportation, effective immediately.
The proclamation suspends certain regulatory provisions in Iowa code regarding work hours for drivers and crews delivering diesel, gasoline, ethanol, biodiesel, or gasoline blends into our within the state of Iowa. It does provide protections for drivers and safeguards for keeping fatigued drivers off the road. The proclamation will be effective through 11:59pm on May 28th unless terminated or extended by the governor.
