(Pleasant Hill, IA) -- A Pleasant Hill man is facing an attempted murder charge, accused attacking his ex-wife with a machete.
According to reports, 42-year-old Jeremy Reben drove his vehicle into the side of his ex-wife’s SUV on Friday night, pushing it into another vehicle and trapping her inside. Authorities say Reben then got out of his car, partially entered the SUV, and began attacking her with a machete.
Reben is currently being held at the Polk County Jail. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
