(Marshalltown, IA) -- Marshalltown's new splash pad has been closed by the city because of vandalism and maintenance.
In a Facebook post, the city's Parks and Rec Department says staff is working to repair the damage at the Apgar Family Water Plaza.
Five suspects were captured on video surveillance committing the vandalism.
A ribbon cutting to open the facility was just held last Saturday.
