(Ames, IA) -- A Story County woman convicted in the death of her infant daughter will spend life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The Story County Attorney's Office says Sheyenne Shore of Nevada was sentenced in connection with the 2023 death of her 7-month old baby.
The baby suffered multiple bruises, bone fractures and hemorrhages of her eye and liver.
The girl's father, Juan Montalvo, Junior, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on a charge of child endangerment resulting in death.
