US Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska doesn't sound like other politicians.
That's to his credit. At his talk the other day in Story County, I overheard someone saying: "People are earning college credit hours for listening to this speech."
It was supposed to be a joke about how cerebral the Senator was being. But: Isn't that what the Senate is supposed to be? The two people with the best judgment we can find from every state?
If what he's talking about is different -- but if you're also convinced that it's important -- then shouldn't we demand more of it?
