My brother recently scanned our entire set of family photos to a digital archive, and in the process, he was able to do some major color correction. Since I was born in the 1970s, some of my baby photos have always had a serious yellow/orange tint, and I'd never seen them in "true color" until this digitization project. Since my brain has stored a really strong and long-term memory of the pictures in their original form, seeing them in true color is a real head trip.
So is this video, which auto-tunes "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to a major chord. If you're a Gen-Xer like me, this is going to seem really familiar and totally foreign, all at the same time:
Only Dave Grohl and his drums are unchanged. A head-banging head trip.
