Fall Planting

Fall can be a nice time to plant many things in the garden.  While early fall/late summer is best for grass by seed and herbaceous perennials (so do it right now, if you haven't finished), woody plants and bulbs can be planted well into October.

Here is more information from Iowa State University Extension about fall planting.
