We've all seen the outrageous behavior on some airplanes recently, but THIS is truly heartbreaking.
Surveillance camera footage captures an unidentified aide slapping an autistic six-year-old girl as she screams while riding a school bus in Illinois.
According to CNN:
Staff members notified the school district superintendent about the incident. The bus aide had only been with the bus company for two weeks and did not appear to have been trained to follow protocols around the girl.
Of course, there should NEVER be a scenario in which an adult caretaker is allowed to slap a child.
And what worries me (Jeff) is that her father, Nicholas Rushing, says the incident may have changed his daughter's personality:
"It kind of changed her personality on things," he said. "She doesn't want anything to do with people she doesn't know."
