An Original Series Is Debuting On...*checks notes*...Tinder

I told you this week about Netflix snatching up the exclusive rights to stream "Seinfeld," as new streaming services debut. All these new services (such as Apple's new service or Disney's new service) are looking for both a popular classic series (like "The Office") and a popular original series (like "Stranger Things") to lure into subscribing to their series. After all, if you want ALL the great content, it will cost you a LOT of cash. You probably will pick and choose in the future.

The Wall Street Journal published an excellent overview of what shows each streaming service will feature trying to get you to sign up:

But here's a source of original content that I didn't expect: Tinder. Yes, THAT Tinder. The dating app.

Several online reports say the dating service is releasing a video series set in an "impending apocalypse" and has a relationship sub plot. The six-episodes will be released next month.

“Reuters” says filming has already wrapped in Mexico City for the series. A company spokeswoman says the show is part of a larger strategy that will be revealed soon.
