Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg is probably the most fun politician we have ever spoken with. There is always a smile on his face and he is always fun to speak with. But we didn't know he has a strong opinion about coffee ice cream!
It's not the first time we have interviewed Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg and we certainly hope it won't be the last. He is always a pure job, any today was no exception. We told us his most favorite places to hit on the fair, and his favorite food at the fair which is the Pork Chop on a stick, but he also told us about a food that he doesn't like at all, but how the Iowa State Fair changed his mind.
It turns out, Gregg does not like coffee mixed into ice cream. I happen to agree with him on this, but the Bauder's booth at the Iowa State Fair has an ice cream coffee bar that has apparently changed his mind!
Gregg also told us about how people have started to recognize him around the state, but can't quite place him. People know he's a familiar face, but one gentleman made the assumption he was a basketball player!
He also knew the answer to my trick question. What is the only food on a stick at the fair, that isn't actually on a stick? The answer is The Pork Chop On A Stick! It's not on a stick, it's on a bone! Gregg has been at the fair almost every single day, including late through the night before our interview at a Grandstand Concert.
And what's the one thing Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg HAS to do every year at the Iowa State Fair? He's not keen on trying out the giant slingshot, but the one thing he must do every year is the giant slide with his kids!
