The President wants to spend $1.5 Trillion on the nations' crumbling roads and bridges, but he doesn't want to do it with Federal Dollars.
The plan will be rolled out today and is expected to cut permitting from ten to two years and boost investment for projects in rural America as well such as water, broadband etc.
Only $200 Billion would be Federal Dollars and would come from cuts tom other areas of the budget.
In the State opf the Union address, President Trump was clear: "Every federal dollar should be leveraged by partnering with state and local governments and - where appropriate - tapping into private sector investment to permanently fix the infrastructure deficit."
So is this a good idea?
