According to the Des Moines Register, three women have accused Democrat Gubernatorial candidate Nate Boulton of sexual misconduct and harassment. While he didn't deny it, he did say sorry for it.
I have talked about a lack of due process in the #MeToo movement and if Boulton had denied any of this happened, I would be on his side too in that respect.
But he hasn't done that.
One woman accused Boulton of grabbing her butt just three years ago. Two other women accused him of things way worse than that while he was attending Drake law school. Apparently on many more than one occasion and in bars, he rubbed his erect penis against their thighs.
Boulton said the following to the Register: “I don’t have the same recollection, but I am not going to offer any additional context to this, other than to say if someone’s perspective is that it was inappropriate and I crossed a line and I misread a situation in a social setting, I do apologize.”
Now many Democrats are asking him to leave the race for Governor. Some are also saying he should quit his Senate seat. Should he?
