The voice of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Gary Dolphin, has been suspended for two games after a hot mic incident the other night.
There was no cursing or inappropriate language, but Dolphin was critical of recruiting and an individual player. He behaved like a fan.
The incident occurred during a commercial break when Dolphin was talking to his broadcast partner Bobby Hansen about some of the Pitt players.
“How do we not get anybody like that? It's just year after year after year. Go get a quality piece like that. Just get one! They've got three or four.”
Hansen agreed but has not been suspended. "Go get a key piece like that," he said.
Dolphin went further though, criticizing an individual player.
He apologized both at half time and after the game.
So what do you think? Is this two much of a punishment?
