Kamala Harris in Iowa vows to get rid of private health care plans - Good?

Last night Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) who is one of very many who wants to be our President, was in Iowa at an 'invitation only' CNN town hall. Apparently no one has told her how Iowans like to vet their candidates, but there's plenty of time for that.

The big headline is not that the Democratic party has taken a huge swing to the left. Nope.

This particular Presidential candidate not only wants a single payer healthcare system, she actually wants to get rid of private Insurance.

Jake Tapper asked her (to be fair, this was funny) if people who liked their insurance could keep it. In an answer which said Government could do it faster and better she said: "Let's eliminate all of that. Let's move on."

So is getting rid of all private insurance a good idea?
