More and more places in our country are instituting some sort of ban on vaping. Michigan became the latest with it's Administrative Rules ban on flavored nicotine vaping products.

San Francisco has already banned the sale of all vaping products and Boulder, CO is going to follow Michigan's lead AND up the buying age to 21 too.

Why? It seems to be a response to the mysterious vaping-linked illnesses that have put healthy young people in hospital with serious and mysterious lung diseases. On Friday of last week, a fifth death linked to this outbreak was announced.

On August the 23rd, the first death from vaping was reported in Illinois as chronicled by The Washington Post

Personally, before I quit smoking cold turkey almost two years ago, I tried vaping. I didn't like it so it lasted about three days.

Do you think this is a serious problem? Should Iowa institute some sort of ban on vaping?
