Will women's pro sports be destroyed by transgender participants?

Let me state the obvious. Men and women are different. Men are stronger, faster and built differently and its been that way since the beginning and it is that way for a reason.

Recently however, people have been transitioning between the sex they were born to the one they weren't. Your opinion about that doesn't really matter and neither does mine.

However, more recently biological men who live as women have been taking part in women's professional sports and shocker - they've been dominating them.

International tennis superstar, Martina Navratilova, is a lesbian. Up until very recently she was an ambassador for all things LBGTQ. No longer. She dared to say that biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's professional tennis. Now she is a pariah in that community.

How about this? “It was an unfair race, and I accepted that when I pinned on the number, and I tried to do my best to overcome the unfairness. I do feel that hard-fought freedoms for women’s sport are being eroded. If we continue to let this happen, there will be men’s sports and co-ed sports, but there won’t be any women’s sports.”

That was Jennifer Wagner-Assali, who took bronze behind Rachel McKinnon a year ago in a cycle race but did not compete in 2019.

McKinnon did. Broke the world record in qualifying and went on to dominate the 200 meter sprint in the 35-39 age-group at the Masters Track Cycling World Championships in Manchester, England.

Talking to Sky News, former cycling champion Victoria Hood said, “It is not complicated. The science is there and it says that it is unfair. The male body, which has been through male puberty, still retains its advantage; that doesn’t go away. I have sympathy with them. They have the right to do sport but not a right to go into any category they want.”

So back to the question. Will women's pro sports be destroyed by transgender participants?
