According to the COVID-19 Consortium for Understanding the Public's Police Preferences Across States!! - not a made up name - most Iowans who intend to vote are planning to do so by absentee ballot even though they are not absent!
This group with the extremely long name is made up of researchers from various universities - none of which are in Iowa - and was conducted on line. It was a nationwide survey in which 307 Iowans took part (although as its just an online survey like this one, I'm guessing 307 people said they were in Iowa with no way to prove it).
As we all know, the Secretary of State plans to send every registered voter an absentee ballot request form in the mail. Then it's up to you if you mail that back in and request one.
Me? I'll be at my polling place as usual and voting in person. I want my vote counted. How about you? Do you plan to vote in person or by mail in November?
