Health Departments in Iowa are reporting a new spike in Coronavirus cases.
In Polk County for example, they have seen more than 1,000 positive tests in the last seven days, and we all know that people are not reporting their results in the way we did at the start of the pandemic.
Apparently it is the Omicron B.A. 5 sub-variant that is creating this spike.
We know the strain is very contagious and is now the dominant strain in Iowa.
"Just think about making the right decisions so you can keep yourself and your community safe and healthy," said Nola Aigner Davis with PCHD.
How about you? Are you worried about the latest spike in Coronavirus cases in Iowa?
