Yesterday the Saudi Arabian Government confirmed that Joe Biden's Administration begged them to put back a reduction in oil production by exactly one month - putting it - and potential gas price increases - beyond the Midterm elections.
"The government of the kingdom clarified through its continuous consultation with the US administration that all economic analysis indicates that postponing the Opec+ decision by a month, according to what has been suggested, would have had negative economic consequences," read a Thursday statement from the Saudis, according to the Guardian newspaper.
Now you might wonder how exactly that benefits you and me apart from slightly cheaper gas before we vote.
You don't need to wonder how that would benefit Biden and his cronies.
Oh and Biden is mad about it. "There’s going to be some consequences for what they’ve done with Russia," Biden told CNN’s Jake Tapper in an interview released Tuesday. "I’m not going to get into what I’d consider and what I have in mind. But there will be consequences."
Whatever that actually means, it seems clear that Biden's Administration asked a foreign power to do it an electoral favor. Should Congress investigate?
