I wake up in the morning and am immediately on it! Wide awake and ready for in depth conversations! Mrs C? Not so much!

For years there has always been an assumption that night owls were smarter, but now a new study debunks all of that.

It turns out that not only do us early birds get the worm, we are smarter and have higher verbal intelligence!

Previous studies have said that it is those who stay up late who have the edge. Turns out that's simply not true.

“Once you account for key factors including bedtime and age, we found the opposite to be true, that morning types tend to have superior verbal ability,” says Stuart Fogel, Director of the University of Ottawa Sleep Research Laboratory, in a university release. “This outcome was surprising to us and signals this is much more complicated that anyone thought before.”
