Here we are on Day Three of the effort to get a new Speaker in the US House of Representatives.
Will it be Kevin McCarthy? Will it be someone else? Will there be any compromise at all or will we head into Day Four tomorrow?
Last night we stayed on the air until 7.30 as the House voted to adjourn. 16 of the 20 who had consistently voted for someone other than Kevn McCarthy, voted with the majority to adjourn the House.
Was that a sign a deal was getting done? Is today the day we get a Speaker elected at the US House?
