Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day picked because this day in 1945 was the day that Auschwitz was liberated by Soviet troops.
Yesterday, literally as we went to air, I received the most disgusting anti-Semitic email I have ever received. We had a very short show yesterday, and this email came in as our opening music was playing. It totally threw me for a few seconds.
I looked at it in more detail last night and was genuinely horrified that we have people in our community who still think like this.
Today I will pause and wonder what a different world we might be living in if 6 million Jews had not been slaughtered. What would they have become? What would their children have become?
