Shocked that despite Biden's promise on tax the IRS is going after servers?

President Biden Delivers State Of The Union Address

He really could not have been clearer. "Under my plan, nobody earning less than $400,000 a year will pay an additional penny in taxes. Nobody. Not one penny."

He has in fact said that multiple times. So I guess the new 87,000 IRS agents must be targeting those wealthy IHOP waiters and waitresses then?

Yesterday the IRS proposed a new reporting program for workers who receive tips. According to Fox News "the program would track point-of-sale data provided by employers in order to ensure that service workers like waiters, many of whom are paid less than minimum wage and rely on gratuity from customers, are paying taxes on the tips they receive."

Well that can't be right. The President specifically said so! But I checked and here is a link to the IRS plan!

Twitter exploded, but no one better than Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky) who tweeted, "Stop the presses. No need to raise the debt limit. Biden is going after those billionaire waitresses' tips."

Are you shocked that despite Biden's promise on tax, the IRS is going after servers?
