Last time I checked, some $5 Billion had been wiped off the value of Anheuser-Busch since the company decided to employ trans activist Dylan Mulvaney as a brand ambassador for Bud Light.
It is a decision that truly defies belief in some respects, but is the latest in a series of big business decisions that have backfired on companies.
Apparently the fastest growing corporate sector for jobs is the hiring of DEI specialists, enabling social justice warriors to get corporate pay for their endeavors. Mulvaney is also a brand ambassador for Nike sports bras and Tampax. What does that say to biological women?
While these companies are doing this, they are losing sight of what they are supposed to be doing... in Anheuser-Busch's case, that would be to sell more beer.
Did literally no one ask the question in the marketing meeting "will this sell more beer?"
I suspect not, because people are scared to ask such a question.
Talking of questions... here's today's. Did you stop drinking Bud Light over their connection to Dylan Mulvaney?
